Tom Lehrer made all of his music 100% public domain so if seeing people sad about his death makes you want to check them out… it’s free. he wanted you to share them.

Tom Lehrer - We Will All Go Together When We Go

Tom Lehrer died today. He was one of the great comedians our culture ever produced. Without Tom, there's no Weird Al, probably no that entire branch of comedy.

He went alone and beat the odds.

Same as before, Columbo in a kitchen with the woman in a red outfit. He’s leaning over the gas hob. Closed caption reads: “That’s beef.”

honestly the best marketing scheme in history is men successfully getting away with calling women the "more emotional" gender for like, EONS, because they've successfully rebranded anger as Not An Emotion

Star Trek is this weird space-themed workplace drama where no one is allowed to have coffee or a water bottle. (Picard gets tea because he has a private office.) Everyone else is presumably dehydrated all the time, which works out because they have to take an elevator to find the nearest bathroom

Still obsessed with the fact that, entirely without direction, the kids decided to dress St Luke in rainbows, and make St John a twink with a 90's choker.

Keep writing to your MPs. If you wrote last month, write again. Write to your MP until you can’t type anymore. Make our voices impossible to ignore

Disability Rights UK is shocked and appalled at the Government’s intended cuts to the benefits that Disabled people rely upon. Narrowing eligibility for Personal Independence Payment and reducing the health component of Universal Credit, will drive millions of Disabled people into even deeper poverty.

The Government is demonising and punishing Disabled people for the economic failures of successive governments. Why isn’t it looking to the rich, to plug its funding gap?

This is a very distressing time for Disabled people who could be impacted by the proposed changes. We will do everything we can to fight them and as part of the Disabled people’s movement, will make our voices heard.

Ikr! In fairness mainly I liked how many songs were in it, Pete Seeger and Joan Baez. As a Dylan film it needed to be weirder. But very enjoyable, good storytelling! And Timmy is great in it, after all…
