'Revolving door' between politics and lobbying rings transparency alarm bell Lobbying has become big business, with around 727 lobbyists registered in the national capital, more than three times the number of elected officials sitting in parliament.

This is how broken our lobbying laws are.

Every resources minister since 2001 went on to work for fossil fuel companies & 8 ex-ministers & senior advisers now lobby for gambling💰

The Govt’s delay of the National Climate Risk Assessment is deeply concerning. Australians deserve to know the risks & suppressing this info ahead of the 2035 target decision undermines trust. I’m calling for its release, a national adaptation plan & at least 75% emissions reduction by 2035.

Cash for access: The private meetings earning Labor millions Ministers are blocking access to diary entries that show when and where they attended meetings and meals facilitated by Labor’s fundraising program.

This term, I’ll be reintroducing my Clean Up Politics Act. It would give the public access to ministerial diaries. Australians deserve to know who Ministers are meeting with, when, and why - and how government decisions are made.

We need to restore trust in government.
