If it weren't a high-powered CEO or rich person, it would be added to their list, which includes police reports of car stereo thefts from 20+ years ago that will never be solved.

Can't help but wonder if it's a red herring here.

Bully tactics. I've seen stuff like this before. I once saw a very similar letter written to a media company during a political advertising season about claims made by another opponent in an ad. As much as they try to intimidate media outlets, they don't have a leg to stand on.

US targets China's chip industry with new restrictions The United States on Monday launched its third big crackdown in three years on China's semiconductor industry, curbing exports to 140 companies, including chip equipment maker Naura Technology Group , among other moves.

The reality of Cybersecurity:

It's a journey, not a finish line. It is not a process that will ever be concluded. Security issues are always changing. Deployed technologies change over time, by the users, and by the adversaries discovering flaws and developing exploits.

Backup your data!

If you are not already regularly backing up your data, I highly recommend that you do so.

It doesn't take much for hardware to fail and it can be of no mistake of your own doing to cause it.

If you are planning on doing any maintenance or service work, backup before you do it.
