I tried Yuri (Yuki? Yumi?) and the Nightmare Painter and Tress of the Emerald Sea. Tress was super fun and whimsical, I actually liked it, I just always got the book from the library when I didn’t have time to read.

Good to know! I have struggled through a couple of his books and not finished them, but several friends have said this one is spectacular, so away I go!

My whole family is out here buying new houses and getting job promotions and having more babies, and I’m over here like, “I finally remembered to schedule that oil change.”

‪Also, before I moved to my bed, I was dozing off on the couch, and I had a weird little 3 second dream where a door was opening, so that doesn’t help either lol ‬

Doing a late night scroll before sleep, when a light flashing briefly in my window caught my eye. It was probably just a car with ridiculously bright headlights. But bc I am home alone, I’m convinced it’s a murderer and now I will not sleep tonight 🙃

It’s a trap

I don’t mind chaos. I thrive in chaos. But if today’s chaos could chill for like 2 minutes so I can eat the lunch I’ve been working on for 3 hours, that’d be swell.

I have no idea who I married. I woke up from my dream before the wedding happened.

Anyway, I should probably figure out my new last name. And maybe cut back on the reality dating and crime TV shows 😂

When I joined the rest of marriage camp and told them what happened, the people running it said that if I didn’t get married now, I could never marry anyone ever. Always read the fine print, people!

They ended up catching the guy, but my fiancé had to go back to the station to fill out the paperwork. He dropped me back off at marriage camp and said that if he was running late, I could just marry the other librarian guy instead. Except I still didn’t have my dress.

Anyway, the day of the wedding comes, and my dress somehow was forgotten at the bridal shop. My amazing police officer fiancé offered to drive me there in his cruiser, but on the way, he decided to join his buddies in a high speed chase.

Except after we got engaged, we still had to participate in the group events. We were hardly ever together. The only time we could see each other was at night, and there was no privacy because everyone was camped out on the gym floor like a giant slumber party.

We were divided up into groups and rotations, but every week ended with a big dance. I got caught up between 2 men. One was a librarian & he was very sweet, but ultimately I decided to marry the charismatic police officer. Even though he had like 3 girls who wanted to marry him.

I went to this huge marriage camp where people from all over came together and participated in events and activities while trying to find a spouse. It took place over 3 weeks, and at the end there was going to be a massive wedding for all the successful couples.

I didn’t have coffee yesterday, so please understand me when I say that I am EXCITED

Decided to make tuna salad with crackers for lunch, but the first couple bites raised an alarm. Turns out, the jar of mayo I pulled from the depths of my pantry has been expired for 3 YEARS.

We are thriving over here.

I decided to put some spices in my coffee this morning, but instead of cinnamon, I strongly suspect I accidentally grabbed the cumin

I suppose that would still technically be “bubbly”

I did just shovel the whole driveway by myself, it’s feasible
