Chargers need to get an in-line guy to go with Gadsden
I know Gadsden is a willing blocker but we're still talking about a converted WR that's still learning the position and probably shouldn't be blocking too much if they want to get everything they can out of him as a receiver

My latest at The Huddle is a continuation of last week's free agent best landing spots for fantasy football.
This week, we're tackling the quarterbacks and running backs to see where they could land, with a hint of what I think will happen to these players once the dust settles on free agency.

I think giving Pat McAfee unfettered media access to all of these athletes is the true crime

I didn't have enough characters to put "some of that could be on the line issues", and that's fair, but it's not like the line is going to get markedly better in 2026 either.
The pieces will (hopefully) get in place for continued improvement, but he didn't really show me much to get excited about.
and he's only solid with his pass-catching too, but YPRR really doesn't reflect it (I think it was ~0.85 off the top)
I just don't think he's really that good and is pretty replaceable
of 48 qualifying RB, Woody Marks was:
- 45th in Yds after contact per attempt (2.9)
- 33rd in RYOE (+31)
- 47th in YPC (3.6)
- 43rd in success rate (35.2% - % of runs that resulted in positive EPA)
- 45th in Elusive Rating (PFF)
- 36th in Breakaway % (PFF)
no thanks on Marks

I'm honestly shocked that people who I thought knew ball thought Woody Marks was good last season

While everyone was busy talking about world war three, it occurred to me; should I be focussing on world war me?

Outside of o-line stuff, if Monty gets there for fantasy, it's going to have to be with touchdown equity vs. pure volume.
People are going to assume him with Detroit's efficiency and be left with a middling RB2 once Marks (or whatever other back) takes some work off the top
I mean sure!
Monty/Marks is a solid short-term combo & it pulls Marks out of a totally miscast role. Hopefully this puts Marks in as the good and efficient part of the Rachaad White role where he can pass catch because CAN'T run
Texans should still draft a RB though
Lions WILL draft a RB
(And having exactly zero (0) backbone)
