I grew up in a very similar rural evangelical community and seeing people back home suddenly become experts on healthy oils is killing me.

I’m not sure they realize canola oil is a seed oil. Growing up, that’s ALL we used (other than lard and butter).

Seed oils were also a surprise to me. I’ve known people that once would’ve fried food in used motor oil if it tasted good.

Like…y’all are just making shit up to be a conspiracy theorist about at this point.
