This paper holds a special place in my heart. I was working on an earlier draft (almost 3 years ago!) when my wife went into labor with my son. We still call him Bouba, although lately he has been more of a Kiki ;)

Excited to share that I’ll be joining the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at @colorado.edu as an Assistant Professor this fall! My lab will study social cognition, focusing on the cognitive and neural bases of stereotyping and bias interventions.

Philip Zimbardo passed away this week at 91. The silence surrounding news of the passing of a scholar of his prominence is very unusual, but won't surprise many who question the authenticity his famous work. To me, it is an ending to a tragic tale of the pursuit of a meaningful intellectual legacy.
