These headphones are definitely not the BEST (again, they're fairly inexpensive), but I still feel like they are at least competent when it comes to using them to make music, imho

I don't know what you had previously nor what your budget is, but I use the Audio-Technica ATH-M20x, which is 60 USD, and I personally find them to be pretty good and, for what you get, fairly inexpensive. I have no idea how they compare to your previous headphones, so I'd do some research first xd
