In an effort to stave off my worry for the world I’m taking today to write. Not sure if what I’ve created so far will have any purpose other than venting or practice but I’ve managed to knock out a few new pieces already. Still need a lot of editing but I’m enjoying the process today.

It was a good feeling to be able to sit down with them and know how to navigate feelings in a way that left everyone happy. And I feel you on the time crunch at burns. So much to do and god knows y’all always had stuff going on at your camp.

Been an interesting morning. Had an issue at work yesterday between my boss and myself and a co-worker. Co-worker was unhappy with the situation. Found myself using my Ranger training from burns to mediate and resolve the situation this morning. Some things just stay with you.

Followed this advice today. They have now asked me to leave the book store.

Update: they are now doing things and I’ve read 10% more of the book in one night. For reference it took me like two months up to this to read 50%.

Yay! I got an appointment with my tattoo artist for my birthday! Time for me to obsessively work on the design!

Listen…in my defense I was left unsupervised.

Also yeah I’ll eventually post about DJ mixes, projects and stuff but right now I’m busy trying to eat enough to hibernate and fulfill my goal of quitting IT and becoming a bear (the animal, not the hot dudes).

So I’m working on reading through the Stormlight Archives and I devoured the first two books but I’m struggling on Oathbringer. Maybe it’s just that there’s a lot of backstory and setting up the action for later but I find myself thinking “Ok that’s cool, now do something ffs!”
