I wasn’t the oldest there
Also not the only one wearing a mask
The 18 yr olds we met didn’t believe I was 37, and did not care
Concert earplugs aren’t good enough. My right ear is ringing

Yeah it makes no sense! And yeah I have to wear a mask, I’m disabled. I was happy to see a few other people were wearing them too, I’m usually the only one! It was such a great, queer, caring vibe all round.

I won a flag at the Heated Rivalry club night.

I have no idea why it is the American flag and not Canadian. I might paint a maple leaf on it.

An 18 year old in the club just recognised me and said OMG IT’S YOU, YOU’RE LOWKEY FAMOUS.

I have witnesses and everything. I am going to treasure that interaction for the rest of my life.

The supreme big city satisfaction of making a 60-second train interchange cos you know exactly which bit of the train to sit in for the shortest distance to run (or in my case, trot).

Off out to a Heated Rivalry club night wearing an Ilya shirt dupe that I spent ages looking for on Vinted, listening to the soundtrack and have just finished book 5.

I love fandoms.

Tons of British parents are fuming right now because they took their kids to a Kpop tribute concert expecting it to be exclusively Kpop demon hunters, because that’s what they think Kpop IS, but it was all Kpop because it’s a GENRE. It’s hilarious.

Ex-Prince Andrew getting arrested on his birthday has weirdly made me proud to be British.

Spent the day watching Heated Rivalry with a friend who’d never seen it, drinking ginger ale and eating burgers.

Seeing someone else just GET it is a total joy. I’m embracing the hyper fixation now. It makes me so happy and emotional. I’m never leaving the cottage.

British Pancake Day is on Tuesday, but it clashes with Lunar New Year.

I’m a big fan of Hogarth’s engravings depicting the squalor, vulgarity and decadence of 1700s London. I’ve seen The Harlot’s Progress before, but this was the first time seeing The Rake’s Progress.

He must have been a big influence for artists like Josh Kirby. #art
