That's entirely understandable in the context of a Holocaust Museum. The Tank Museum is not one such.

The electronics store chain Dixons (now Currys) was founded by a Jewish man. He refused to sell anything German at all. But he had alternatives (Japan principally).

How would you raise a similar amount of money without 131, to support the Museum?

Should all German (and Soviet) tanks be removed from display and scrapped?

I tend to think that institutions of all sorts do not create public opinion. They follow it and pander to it. Tank Museum is no different.

Then educate the public.

Museums, as you know, are perpetually underfunded. They need to exploit anything they can to balance the books.

As a primary-school kid I got a magazine called 'War Monthly'. 2nd edition had a Tiger article. 1971. The fascination is very old & enduring.

Perhaps they are simply reflecting where public interest lies?

If people were fascinated by Churchill tanks then they'd be marketing those instead.
