I've only had iPhones, since the 2G. Why does the OS need to re-verify VLC remotely, which I had installed for 5 years? Happens in the worst moments with banking apps too...
I'm considering ditching it for a Pixel A series with Graphene or Lineage and just F-Droid on it.
