Patsy King was born 16 September 1930 and passed away on 19 January 2026 at the age of 95. She was an actress and children's television presenter, recognised for her contributions to theatre, radio, and television. Internationally, Patsy was best known for portraying Governor Erica Davidson in the television series Prisoner (known as Prisoner: Cell Block H in the UK and USA, and Caged Women in Canada). King also appeared on television in Homicide, Play School Australia, Bellbird, Adventure Island, Hunter, Good Morning Mr Doubleday, Division 4, The Long Arm, Matlock Police, Marion, This Love Affair, The Box, Out of Love , Power Without Glory, Hotel Story, The Sullivans, Cop Shop and Chopper Squad.

Patricia Routledge was born on 17 February 1929 and passed away on 3 October 2025 at the age of 96. She was an actress. On television Routledge was Kitty in Victoria Wood As Seen on TV and played the lead role in Hetty Wainthropp Investigates. Patricia will always be remembered as Mrs Bucket (pronounced Bouquet) in Roy Clarke's legendary BBC sitcom Keeping Up Appearances. She was also in Margery and Men, A Woman of No Importance, Talking Heads, The Terrible Choice, Hilda Lessways, Coronation Street, Armchair Theatre, Hobson's Choice, Z Cars, Victoria Regina, No Hiding Place, Sense and Sensibility, Doctor at Large, His and Hers, Steptoe and Son, ...And Mother Makes Five, David Copperfield, Crown Court, Nicholas Nickleby, The Two Ronnies, Tales of the Unexpected, Sophia and Constance, Let's Face the Music, Alas Smith and Jones, Miss Pym's Day Out, The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends, Hildegard of Bingen, Anybody's Nightmare and Beatrix Potter with Patricia Routledge.

22 June 2025 Steve Rider presented his final sports programme on ITV 4. Rider has been part of sport on TV for 48 years. He began on LBC before moving into television at Anglia in 1977. He was part of ITV's coverage of the 1980 Summer Olympics. He was an occasional presenter of World of Sport and Midweek Sports Special. He moved to the BBC where he hosted Grandstand, Sportsnight and coverage of Olympics and World Cups. He moved back to ITV in 2006 and hosted the World Cup, Rugby World Cup and Formula One coverage. In 2009, he began hosting ITV's coverage of the British Touring Car Championship, a role he continued to do until his retirement on 22 June 2005.
