Her true side is shown in what I have been dealing with since she died. She didn't think to leave anything for us to administer her funeral. That came out of our pockets. Not my brother's. I don't want to make my kids go through this when I go. It shows how little she really cared about us.

I don't know what she saw in my loser of a brother. But she loved him more than me or my siblings. There are many things I'm upset about her. Why she cheated on my dad & why she made my dad go crazy with her manipulative behavior. Sure she had her good side too but her bad side was really awful.

It's fucked when you realize that your mom played favorites in the will and yet it's up to you to do the legwork to implement it. At this point I'm considering just walking away from it all. It's not like I will be getting much anyway. She obviously doesn't care anymore. She's underground.

Last night was the first time I dreamed about my mom since she died. In the dream she hadn't died but I wanted to hug her and she told me that she was fine. All the while I knew that she was actually dead, there was no illusion that I didn't know she had died. I think this means I'm progressing.

Had a funeral for my parents today. I still haven't fully processed that my parents are dead and buried. Spent the last 4 hours driving around dropping off family members. Finally getting around to making dinner. I feel like I need more time off to figure this out.

Tell the people you love that you love them and make an effort to see them in person and give them a hug. This time is fleeting and you have to act now as the future is not promised.

If you are lucky you go through a period in your life where you don't have to think about death and dying, and everyone around you is fine. Get to a certain age, and it's constantly a huge part of your life, and there's no escaping it's toll around you.
