A many year old product, albeit at a great price still isn’t a new product. Many bucks on a name and trademark, still doesn’t make it the original brand either. Chasing people who live retro but querying the above isn’t a good look. I’m happy to wait and see what it looks like in a years time.

One of the most droolsome pieces of early 90s hardware. Laserdisc was a popular format in Japan, so it made sense to Pioneer to combine one with gaming hardware: in this case, plug-in Mega Drive and PC Engine modules.

I worked for DSG (Curry’s and Dixons) around 1998/9 and some of their cheaper machines software modems just didn’t work. Try fixing that over the phone. Plus software modems would suck cpu cycles just to work, whereas the hardware ones were just better for gaming.
