“Reed Nathanial Richards! I heard that grumbling. Do not make me put you on another week long ban from the science lab.”
Sue might have been in the next room but she still uses her ultimate superpower of hearing her husband’s grumblings from an entirely different area of the Penthouse.
Sue nods her head at Violet’s question but then shakes her head “Yes, that’s why I asked you if you could sense anything. What kind of a mother am I?”
Sue sits down and then she sighs “I can’t believe I just immediately thought of my child being different from different children, like Franklin.”
Sue nods her head, takes Persephone’s hands for comfort and starts counting to ten because who better to comfort and calm you than another variant of yourself.
“Reed, I’m sorry for saying that. I’m just a little…” Sue takes another breath before talking again “Reed. Reed, I’m pregnant.”
“Good boy. And I will be monitoring her bank account so don’t even think that you can be late with her paycheque. Okay? I’ll let you get back to science.”
Sue then kisses Reed on the lips and then she proceeds to leave the lab once she is satisfied with the answer that Reed has given her
“Convince my husband that the world will not implode if he spends a couple of hours with me through the day? I don’t know, but it does sound really nice.”
Sue smiles warmly “Maybe you can also scan my pregnancy? You know, I just need to know that my baby isn’t sick in any kind of way.”
“Wait until he finds out that he is sleeping on the couch tonight.” Sue exhales softly and then watches as Reed’s head pops up, immediately forgetting about what is working on.
“That’s right. The couch. You called Persephone me, then proceeded to sign a document she gave you without reading it.”
“That’s because it is all she has ever known Reed and she is afraid she won’t get the chance again if she doesn’t do the work for free but we are better and more fair than that, aren’t we?”
Sue said the aren’t we with a more serious tone in her voice so that Reed knows she isn’t playing around.
“Pussy toes?” Sue even raised an eyebrow in question but does nod her head in response to Violet’s more important question and even smiles warmly at Violet.
“Of course Janet’s girlfriend can come here too. We have the room and I could never agree to one part of the pair but not the other half.”
Sue shakes her head in disbelief at her husband’s distraction but also takes the easy win because she feels this one is earned. Sue then smiles at Persephone.
“I think I should be more concerned that my husband called you, me, especially because we do not even sound the same at all.”
“Reed. She said that because she thinks that the opportunity will be missed if she doesn’t agree to be paid. You need to remember what time era she came from.”
Sue has her arms crossed and is wearing that look that silently tells Reed that Sue isn’t very pleased with his word choices right now.
“I just want her to be sure she is ready for being in a lab and everything again. Especially because what happened to her would have been traumatic.”
Sue smiles and looks at Violet “I am so happy that you brought Janet here but I also wonder if maybe some Therapy will help her heal.”
Sue laughs softly at Persephone’s choice of words and nods her head “Adopting her seems sweet, and I would, but it took me a while to convince him that she deserves being paid.”
Sue laughs again and then exhales “I have no idea how I’d convince him about adopting Janet. Any advice for me?”
“Then you won’t mind giving her a little bit of money. We can afford it and if she is without parents I think the money will help, which I think starting at one hundred and fifty dollars.”
Sue lifts up a finger so that Reed can’t argue against it “$150 is a fair starting price, Dear, right?”
“My Dear husband, I tried to tell him that hiring a child as a lab assistant isn’t the best idea, though I settled into agreeing as long as he paid her.”
Sue laughs softly and looks at Janet “She never got all the chances that I did. I want to help her change that if she wants me too, you know?”
“I’d be grateful for having two children, especially because I never even thought having one would be something that ever would happen for me.”
Sue smiles warmly at Persephone “I’d be happy and satisfied in life if this little miracle is my last. I’ll have all I could dream about in life.”
“And just how are we going to pay this intern dear?” Sue is holding that look that meant she is very serious to Reed. Sue however is still gently caressing Reed’s arms.
“You can’t not pay her Dear, it wouldn’t be fair. We also should have discussed this together Darling.”
Sue laughs softly and then gently puts a hand on Violet’s shoulder “Hey, don’t worry. She couldn’t have gotten far. Why don’t we split up and look?”
Sue is now caressing Violet’s shoulder and smiles “I know the Penthouse can be daunting but they’ll only be limited places Janet can be, right?”
“Reed will be excited or nervous. He was when we got pregnant with Franklin too.” Sue does cuddle Persephone and exhales, smiling because she can’t believe her dream is coming true for a second time.
“This is going to sound odd but can you be there when I tell Reed? You know, for support.”
Sue nods her head and stays silent so that Violet can get everything off her chest and then Sue just smiles small at Violet.
“You know, acknowledging it is the first step to healing but now all you have to do is decide what comes next because only you can decide that for yourself.”
“I think you made the right choice in having him sleep on the couch for that one, especially because he is completely out of line. I’m really sorry you are going through this.”
Sue is nervously waiting for the results and then smiles when hearing them “I’m pregnant, I’m going to be a mom again.”
Sue is also trying to regulate her breathing but is also smiling warmly at her husband, especially after he presses a kiss on her head but Sue then gently places a kiss on Reed’s lips.
“I’m glad to hear it, Darling. You know I love you and I want you to know I’ll help you in anyway that I can.”
“I’m sorry to hear that, if there is anything we can do to help please let me know. Cascina can even stay here with Reed and I for a while if you feel like it’ll help.”
Sue gently touches Persephone’s shoulder just as the pregnancy test beeps. “Would you mind looking for me? I don’t think I can.”
Sue is breathing heavily after their passionate love making but also puts her hands on Reed’s chest whilst gently caressing his chest whilst smiling.
“I will agree, it certainly is Darling, though I do have to ask one thing every good scientist would. Did that research reveal anything special?”
“I wasn’t going to say that but if you really wanted to be invisible I could make that possible. I mean, it’ll only be temporary but you’ll get a few hours before having to ask me for another dose.”
Sue sits down and sighs softly “It really is okay to feel doubt about yourself sometimes, Violet.”
Sue laughs softly and nods her head “I think I can make that possible, though I will not say when or how, it’ll give it away for the next time.”
Sue smiles and then walks over until she is standing beside Persephone “Don’t worry because he’ll be okay when the shock of the fright has worn off.”
Sue let’s put a gasp and then a moan when she feels Reed nutting deep inside her but Sue’s legs are also trembling in pleasure and enjoyment from knowing her own husband feels good.
“You can stay like this as much as you need to, Darling, I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Sue gently kisses Reed
Sue laughs softly and nods her head before exhaling “I will admit that it is nice to have someone who I can be invisible but still be seen.”
Sue leans over and gently gives Violet a cuddle but also gently squeezes Violet whilst smiling “It’s actually very refreshing if you can believe that.”
Sue smiles and watches Violet’s magic for a little longer and then grants Violet’s wish and shows Violet her own powers, starting with turning invisible without even flinching.

Sue nods her head and then cuddles into Persephone but at the same time she goes invisible just as Joel walks in and raises a confused eyebrow.
“Persephone, what are you doing?” Sue takes the opportunity and sneaks up beside Joel, turning herself visible then talks, scaring Joel half to death.
