The “webmaster” quit & the CIO said, “wanna learn how to take care of the website?”. Me, thinking he was going to teach me said sure! So, why $200? Is it a challenge? The last chair I bought in that range was comfy for about a year and a half. So, I upgraded to a refurb Aeron ~$450. It has been over 3 years and I replaced the seat last month for $100.
Oh, and don’t forget to put the roller blade wheels on.
I’ve noticed that I can’t power through things as much as I could when I was younger & that’s ok. Take the time off but that is only part of it. Find a way for others to do some of those things so they can learn & grow. I say this as someone experiencing the same & transitioning to a new life role.
