PSA: visit your local Bradbury Building, walking into the lobby is free and you might just stumble on an unsanctioned tour led by a French docent asking his American tour group, “who here has seen a movie?”

My first Becky Chambers and I’m hooked. If you’re looking to fill your brain with the literal opposite of a doomscroll, I can’t recommend anything better than these genuinely funny and optimistic sci-fi novellas.
