We programmed a crawler to search open web marketplaces for every animal on the IUCN red list.

Nearly 2/3 of our matches were shark jaws, comprising 9 of the top 10 openly traded threatened species.

WWF helping facilitate trade in polar bear fur, investigation reveals Wildlife charity backs policy of exploitation of small number of some endangered species for economic purposes โ€“ such as trophy hunting

Selling polar bear furs would be an international crime if it werenโ€™t for World Wildlife Fund.

All the Arctic countries except Canada brought a joint proposal to CITES to list polar bears on Appendix I. Native nations backed it too.

WWF lobbied to kill it.
