At the same time, if you're not as much into Pokémon or social sim stuff, there's plenty here in the way of crafting mechanics that feels genuinely rewarding if you want to deeply obsess over it. It scratches that itch from both sides.

Like you don't even have to build the most extravagant thing out there. You can simply just throw down some templates and be done with it if you just wanna get through the story and interact with all the cute Pokémon.

First weekend with Pokopia and feel like I've only just scratched the surface. The game is just massive. There's so much to explore, collect, and craft.

The need for building and story elements are balanced extremely well. It gently encourages creativity without it feeling like busy work.

There *is* a dropoff however which explains why it only works on areas you're currently looking at, since the rain basically follows you around in a cone radius and dissipates at a certain distance, so you'll need to move around a bit. But hey, work smarter, not harder 😅

So it turns out if you have rain, you can just set up somewhere high up, turn your camera to the area you want filled in, go get a coffee or a snack and it'll work its magic for you pain free in a few short minutes ✨

All the music is actually stored on the Gameboy, the cartridges basically just trigger the tracks individually like a key!

Good times! I remember only having a handful of games on rotation and Pokémon RB was always the one that would stay in the cartridge slot 80% of the time 😌

And honestly it's really well made! I love all the little details, the screenshots on the cartridges, and the sound it makes when you flip the on-switch.

I'll be listening to the tracks while I play Pokopia this weekend!
