I've been very up close and personal with the 117 and it does feel very small. It is taller than you would think, but being beside it you would never call it big. Such an odd aircraft in so many ways.

Huh? Not at all. It's a good idea! I immediately looked up the Kidd memorial park for next year 😃. Apparently it's been in dry dock but is now waiting for the river level to come up to be moved back.
As for the Mighty A, I think I've firmly decided to see it again THIS year 😆

Mardi Gras was just a thought. LA definitely does it well but I heard Mobile has a different flavor to it that I'm curious about. The trip would be mainly to see the big 'ol boat. Now if they would just have an airshow nearby... sold!

If I do I have no idea where they are. Was just a kid when I went. Been thinking about making a trip there lately though. They have some good aircraft on display now. If I were a smarter person I would have gone for Mardi Gras.
