Huh? Not at all. It's a good idea! I immediately looked up the Kidd memorial park for next year 😃. Apparently it's been in dry dock but is now waiting for the river level to come up to be moved back.
As for the Mighty A, I think I've firmly decided to see it again THIS year 😆

Mardi Gras was just a thought. LA definitely does it well but I heard Mobile has a different flavor to it that I'm curious about. The trip would be mainly to see the big 'ol boat. Now if they would just have an airshow nearby... sold!

😆 He was the commander of the squadron up until a few months before I took that photo. He was an F-16 pilot prior to that. Found a quote from him about the differences in this article (towards the end)
