This fire-and-cinders boy wasn’t inspired by any particular Garou tribe but I wanted to go for a more bar brawler archetype. Will fight you at the drop of a hat but also a genuinely good sport about it, most of the time.

I drew *a lot* more in 2025 than in previous years. Despite all the curveballs life’s been throwing at me. Which is a win in and of itself for me! I love drawing, but let’s not pretend it’s easy, particularly when the backdrop of the world is what it is.

more artfight pieces than last year, though they were all sketchy whereas last year I did one that was a full blown painting. I finished Lykoris’ reference sheet; and I finally have an art summary without any months missing XD

Despite that, I did manage to achieve some goals I loosely set out for myself last year: I’ve had more commissions and adopts sold this year than before; I finished another OC swap card;

This was a bonkers year for me, an emotional bunjee jumping rollercoaster of a year. Going from “I’m fucked” to “it’s fine” on average about twice a month.

Supposedly they are always born with some innate flaw but some of them are so bizarre you can’t just attribute it to inbreeding within a small population (like the horns). There has to be some kind of spiritual component to the whole thing but I couldn't find a proper explanation on the wiki page.

While I was reading up on the Black Spiral Dancers I stumbled upon the litany and the whole Metis thing: mutated werewolf children of two garou which I find fascinating.

While I didn't really enjoy the video game, it got me really curious about the lore and Black Spiral Dancers in particular. I think they're really neat and there's so much space for some fucked up designs with them :D it's a shame the game didn't really do much with that first BSD you encounter
