The funeral ends with their body thrown into the holes down into Moss Grotto, directly where Hornet fell at the start of the game. You can later find him right next to the cage, and for some reason that was even more of a gut punch than anything else.

You know, one of the first guys you spoke to. The poor sod that couldn’t quite get himself to actually start his pilgrimage?

When you later come back, you can witness the other pilgrims giving him a funeral, such as they can. None of them even knew their name.

If you do the wish to hunt down the Skull Tyrant, next time you sit at the bench in the settlement, another Skull Tyrant starts rampaging there, breaking the wish wall, the bench, and killing the Little Pilgrim.

There's a good chance they will, a lot'll depend on how things go down later, though: whether the spiral will continue and how fast will it go. I too am forced to use a VPN to access the majority of the internet, unfortunately, so I feel ya :( but my government is too far gone, theirs might not be.

the fact that you're using a VPN at all, though that one's a lot rarer. I have to use a VPN to basically access most of the internet these days, bsky included :( it's a pain and, yeah, a financial strain. We've had to pool money with friends to pay for a more robust tariff when they blocked YouTube

supposedly it's resistant to being blocked and one of the things that still works here in Russia (the usual WireGuard doesn't work at all and Shadowsocks is on the rocks) and even China has trouble blocking it, afaik. Some VPN services even provide the option of Obfuscation, which's supposed to mask
