Well, very pleasantly surprised to report, despite the frustrating timing, I think the hyper fixation was exactly what I needed. The problem section is resolved (at least enough to feel okay moving forward in the early drafting stages) and there is still hope of hitting my deadline if I hustle 💪

Barely a week left until my deadline for the casino short story (which was already extended once), so of course my brain has decided that this morning was the optimal time to start doubting my execution of a pivotal part of the plot and making me hyper fixate on it instead of writing the ending 😬🤦‍♀️

Well, I feel like a Disney princess now, lol

A bird got stuck inside & struck a window. As I approached, it flew back toward the window, flapping wildly. I asked it to calm down so I could show it how to get out, & it did. I took it outside & put it on a tree. After a few minutes, it flew away 💕

Thank you 😁 It truly is the best place I could possibly be at any given time ❤️
