On the other hand, the upside is apparent that if he can continue his overachievements in-and-around the net, his ghosts are formidable. I would see a STASH angle, but only if you have tons of roster space.

Overall, I am thinking that Fermin is not a viable "regular" league pick up he might be worthy of a dynasty league pick up, but I wouldnt get my hopes up. CHE is erratic every year in making moves. Who is to say that Fermin remains in good standing next year.
πFanTrax Projection
MP is adjusted instead of gPP90/PP90. I worry for playing time more than anything, though with Palmer's injury he could be closer to the optimistic side (if the transfer is done quicker). I do worry as the difference between gPP90/PP90 is ~4 points.
π Scatter Plots
Fermin has sticks out alongside notable premier league names in defensive duels won & xG+xA per 90.
πPlayer Comparison
In comparison to other CHE assets that can play the 10, Fermin provides nothing necessarily different.
π¨βπ« Player Profile
Fermin excels in all attacking categories, but also plays in a less competitive league on one of the best teams. He seems to play almost exclusively in the middle, hence the lacking ACs. His low carrying frequency indicates hes good at being a cog.
Chelsea at it again, Fermin Lopez shows promise and should help fill the void that Garnacho was supposed to. Additionally, with Palmer's injury makes the transfer more enticing

Pino overall looks promising, he has pretty good non-π» and fits a similar profile to Damsgaard. If continues his chance creation prowess, I would not be worried about spending FAAB to obtain him. His ability to play on both wings, also will assist his MP
πFanTrax Projection
Pino is a lot more reliant on non-π» than others, but you could argue that playing alongside Mateta & Sarr (Goal-oriented) will help him maintain his PP90. Crystal Palace playing a high-press trap will be ideal to keeping his defensive contributions high.
π Scatter Plot
1st Plot shows Pino as not relying on carrying the ball to create chances, this is positive and similar to Eze. Then 2nd Plot shows Pino as a much more better defensive contribute in comparison to their offensive contribution, which is surprising.
πPlayer Comparison
I compared the three prospective transfers to Palace, and Pino stands out in a couple statistics: PKW, STO, & his xA related statistics.
π¨βπ« Player Profile
Pino excels at defensive contributions as a winger and with a low carrying frequency has solid creation stats. Over-performing in goals and assists with a very low SOT per 90. Translates to a good goal conversion and reinforces his creation ability.
This post is going to similar to my Tzolis & El Khannouss, as I am less stressed about who is put in a position to take over Eze's spot. We will compare the three and more:

Overall, I am bullishπ in comparison to the other WHU options & rumored transfers. The consistency of Schmid's π» categories and less reliance on G+A makes him a suitable option to spend FAAB on. However, a rumor is a rumor so no promise that he'll come
π FanTrax Projection
I would image a hit on JWP/Soucek/Rodriguez minutes if he were to join, projections move instead of MP. I actually don't fear too much on the downside due to most of Schmid's points deriving from π»
π Scatter Plot
This scatter plot illustrates how Schmid ranked alongside Premier League stars last season, with a similar output to them (KP) and a similar progressive actions.
π Player Comparison
A similar profile to two Premier League staples, Maddison & Odegaard. Smaller output in the npxG & Assists category, but I'm less worried about it for the position he played and strength of squad. My worry is that he isn't joining a strong squad either.
π¨βπ« Player Profile
Schmid played in the middle and on the wings last season, leading MF from the Top 5 leagues in progressive actions. Also being a leader in related stats as well, with a slight under performance in xG+xA.
Romano Schmid π¦πΉ to West Ham π οΈ is the most exciting of all their rumored options.

Ucheβs versatility can make his statistical profile misleading. Although he is often compared to forwards, his time spent in various midfield roles means his numbers align more closely with those of a midfielder.
π§ Personal Thoughts
I fear that Uche requires an orchestra to play off of. His lack-thereof goals makes me think he isn't a 9, though he's being advertised as one. I am further dissuaded by his versatility of playing ST/CM/CAM/DM in the past. His upside is that he is a creator
After revamping my projections methodology, I transitioned to creating various cases of PP90/gPP90 rather than minutes. I used the minutes of Strand Larsen as he would be his "replacement".
25.08.2025 18:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Unsurprisingly similar to the Player Profile, the first scatter plot shows Uche as an outlier for defensive stats. However, Uche doesn't necessarily stand out as a dominant ball carrier versus the Big-5's forwards. Though he is only 22 years old, so there is room for development.
25.08.2025 18:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Uche succeeds at being a progressive ball carrier being formidable in defensive stats. The main standout is the over-performance in Assists and underperformance in Goals. I worry that in Wolves tactics Uche carrying frequency will dampen, causing his progressive stats will follow
25.08.2025 18:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Wolves are linked with Chrisantus Uche from Getafe, a versatile striker who is being pinned to replace Strand Larsen if he moves to Newcastle.

I initially was writing/researching to see if Magassa had any output that could make him worthy of a pick-up, but what it really showed was that 6s need to be a DLP to be viable. Santos showed that he should be a major stash and wait. Pass on the rest.
π Fantrax Point Projections
Although defensive contributions help score π», 6s & 8s need to have some form of xG+xA output that also boosts their PPS/PP90. Santos, for example, has a high output of PP90/gPP90 for excelling in both areas.
π Scatter Plot
The first scatter shows that the three players listed excel in defensive contributions and lack in a major offensive front (KPs). This is further shown by their excelling in the defensive contributions of the second scatterplot.
π¨βπ« Player Profile
Andrey Santos sticks out with his defensive prowess as well as being involved in progressing the ball. His xG+xA also excites, while the other two playing a deep role have higher defensive stats in comparison (not by much).
