At the Side Door on Locust. We were one of the regular “opening bands” there for national touring acts.

Got to open for them when they toured for their debut and it was a huge thrill! Was a big fan of the three original BFF albums.

Today, I saw one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen. After a cloudy & sometimes rainy fjord cruise yesterday (which was still great despite the weather), we woke up this morning to the Aurlandsfjord smooth as glass, reflecting these epic low-lying clouds with perfect blue skies behind them.

I know there's never 1 simple answer for anything, but Lordy if it doesn't feel as simple as "these men didn't feel enough love growing up."

Nobody who has a rich, warm home life full of safety and support ends up acting the way Leon, Tromp, and their lackeys act. It's as sad as it is dangerous.

Please prioritize your own self-care and energy so that you have the energy to do all of this (and in my vernacular “Find Light”). And most importantly, please do all of this before it’s too late!

Please have conversations with friends, family members, and your community about why this moment in time is so perilous. Please frame any debate using language and information that helps explain and not demonize. Please don’t fight anger and hate with the same energy.

Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, I continually return to this list to remind myself of these bits when I need them. As humans on the path towards greater wisdom and understanding and well-being, it’s often “remember, forget, remember, forget….” That’s definitely the case for me!

It’s a list of my favorite bits of wisdom and insight, including what’s worked well for me and others in my life. I actually started it a few years back, but my “inner critic” held me back from sharing, afraid that it might sound egotistical or look like I have it all figured out.
