Hereโs what I learnt from my experience:

๐ Apply consistent movement
โณ Have patience
๐งน Keep your wheel clean/tidy
๐ข Sometimes the wheel needs to go slow, other times fast ๐, adapt as you need
๐ง Water is very important!

I made something. ๐
In January this year, I had wonderful time at a pottery wheel throwing experience - I loved every moment. It was my first time using a potters wheel and this past month I got to pick out the finish pieceโฆ ta dah. Iโm absolutely thrilled with the result. 1/3
Personally, I find that even a short 10-minute break significantly increases my productivity, even though it often feels wrong in the moment.
