My fav. movie is The Color Purple. The depiction of human nature as a complex blend of love, cruelty and resilience is masterfully done. I just watched it on YT and noticed Celie is wearing a ring at the end reunion w/kids & I wonder if its union is w/Shug, Mister, or herself. Mister had no ring on.

Interesting question though. Hopefully present/future encounters are friendly. I'm hearing my god-fearing friends say they are demons so if a war does break out with them, we'll be hearing "Armageddon" I suppose. This thread can go in so many directions! Will be fun to read.

So many ways to interpret yesterday's fortune cookie.

Dog sat an amazing pup this weekend at a home with a neat garden. I'm not good at photography, but here's a few pics after it rained all weekend.
But more importantly...I refrained from opening the giant tub of cookie dough in the fridge and helping myself.

teamed up and she grew in her craft, as I (hopefully) did in mine. She ended up narrating a well known book (When Women Were Warriors Book 2) and suddenly my TERRIBLE series has had a surge in sales. I feel bad as I'm sure many will be like WTF?! I do plan to rewrite them one day...

So I attempted a series about a woman who becomes a tour guide for females only and I thought it would be fun b/c of all the characters she would interact with and drama, etc. They were terrible as I was blindly self pub'ng and BARELY editing. Anyhoo, a narrator was also starting out so we (1/2)

I hate waking up at 3am on a weekday, but I love it on the weekends. Writing time!!

I was naïve in my 20's 😳. Also, there was a time in the US that using the word 'partner' was like code for being gay. I had a pt job in a call center calling the UK & many would say they needed to talk to their partner, and I would lit. respond w/ OMG, I have a partner too! True story.

you too! I've started learning to draw the circles and making shadows from Matt's tutorials. Super fun. At work, the margins of my work has a bunch of circles trying to be shaded correctly.
