They’re usually scheduled in advance but a sudden one popped up literally with an hour left in the day

Work today hit me with the “um hey I know we just gave you accommodations for your bronchitis so that you get extra breaks in case of chest pains but you’re first on the list for mandatory overtime (because you’ve been too sick to pick up any) so you need to stay an additional two hours today”
