The bogus charges brought against @newyorkstateag.bsky.social Tish James were a blatant attempt at political retribution. While today’s dismissal is a win for justice, we must remain vigilant in calling out the outright harassment and threats from this corrupt regime.

Listen, Trump. Your continued threats will not intimidate me or keep me from doing my job, which includes oversight of the executive branch.

How Trump Has Exploited Pardons and Clemency to Reward Allies and Supporters The president’s second term has brought a flood of clemency for allies and donors — as well as felons, like him, who were convicted of financial wrongdoing.

Those seeking pardons through official channels have watched while Trump grants pardons to people who never entered the system at all.

“If you’re just an average citizen, you can’t even get in the line,” one lawyer said. “I told my guy he’d probably be better off if he broke into the Capitol.”

“The influence that money played in securing this pardon is unprecedented,” says Elizabeth Oyer, former U.S. pardon attorney, about President Trump’s pardon of crypto billionaire Changpeng Zhao.
