Every reputable expert I know considers mRNA vaccine technology to be one of the most revolutionary advances in medicine in our lifetimes. Its inventors won the Nobel Prize in 2023. Shutting it down now is pointless self-harm to humanity.

Gerrymandering is one cause of those landslides. I encourage you to investigate the work of the Princeton Gerrymandering Project on the mathematics of redistricting, but pretty much anything you read on gerrymandering will use the situation in the South as a textbook example.

The expansion of American transphobia from a minority position is almost wholly astroturfed (more like astroTERFed) by a few writers, editors, and capitalists at the Times, the Atlantic, and maybe NYMag.

The South is highly gerrymandered dating back to segregation in order to ensure that Republicans retain their hold. It's much more politically complex than you think.
