Early morning ride up to Tempe yesterday before it hit 100 degrees at 9AM... Ugh.. Found a brush pen for the first one, gave it a go, kinda like it.

I got a GoPro neck mount for recording sketches. This is sped up 50x. I recorded this at normal speed, and when sped up I found I needed to stabilize this because the camera was constantly moving up and down from my breathing. #usk #urbansketch #urbansketchers #urbansketching #tempe

Oh yeah I can definitely see that happening. It can be hard to get flowing sometimes and I’ve found it kills converters pretty quickly. Luckily I’m currently obsessed with these pens and have the opposite problem that I run out of ink so much I have to take several full pens when I go out lol

Right now I'm going through a bottle of R&K "Lotte" SketchInk which I like a lot. Very fast drying and completely waterproof for adding washes and watercolor. I've found Platinum Carbon Black is very similar.

Part of this trip was a pilgrimage to Shakespeare's Pizza in Columbia, MO. I haven't been in 20+ years. Even though they tore down the old building the inside seems completely preserved. One of my favorite places on earth.
