Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.

Here's how to turn it off.

First go to the hamburger menu in the upper left corner

Today we just got 100 new followers and a bunch of people saying "whoa I've never heard of this" re: the game we have been thumping into the ground for the last 3 years by posting one gif from our earliest demo. If you think you post too much about your game: you probably don't!

It was better than the NES version in every measurable way...

Yet I still ended up preferring the NES version. Brains are weird. ;)

Someone once suggested that I should stream what I do for people to learn.. and that's lovely and I've done it from time to time, but for instance the session that got all that working was 12 hours long. Nobody would sit and watch me type and swear for 12 hours solid. ;)

this will end up in the rec thread anyhow but Small Saga is extremely good. a very tight, focused RPG that wastes no time and mixes influences of both Redwall and Berserk, with you as the angriest mouse that has ever lived.

They're obviously trying to carve out one subgroup, then they'll move on to another, and another... :/

On the off chance anyone here was on my Telegram, I've deleted it and created a new one. Someone got my old number and was trying to take it.

It's /probably/ innocent, they just got the number, but there was no easy way to change mine without the mobile app, which I haven't had installed for years.

Didn't come out perfectly, but it was fun to make something again. I was tickled to find that the community is STILL updating NHL'94, so I put the 2025 edition on a true cart, save RAM and all.

I still have my original Robo Aleste CD for the soundtrack... but I always got more fun out of the driving game in Batman Returns.

And just sit and listen to the intro to Robo Aleste, and the narrator trying to rattle off a list of Japanese names like he'd never seen them before... ;)

Apropos of nothing, I think people should be able to easily identify "DARVO", a common abuser tactic, when they see it.

It goes like this:
Me: "Hey, what you did hurt me and you should stop."
Them: "I didn't do anything wrong, and in fact you're the real problem, and I'm being bullied by you."

I don't actually know their history. I released the DS ROM for free at Games That Weren't, and they approached me, and paid for the GBA port. If you pay me, I'll make you a game. ;)
