Okay so my partner Wyatt just *made* me the single most incredible gift: a wooden palette with a hand-carved grip and replaceable glass surface. The wood is ""Patagonian rosewood"" and is shellac'd for ease of cleaning paint off.

After a long winter deep in the Blender mines, I return covered in soot.blend, with a nasty case of lung.blend, but with a hoard of gemstones cut and polished by the Scrungle team, assembled by @ritobandito.bsky.social for #ANE2026!! Honored to get to work alongside such incredibly talented folk.

Its not enough to abolish and prosecute ICE and the DHS, nor is it enough to uproot those who established and allowed them, the system that produced them is founded on oppression and abuse to the benefit of specific peoples, and it needs to be undone for anything new to prosper

Years from now this period of US history will need to be a cautionary example of not being complicit with a failing government, drastic wealth inequality, and the colonial status quo, but to get there, there has to be an actual deconstruction of these things and a reprisal of their benefactors

The federal assault on Chicago began the next day. Then came the Twin Cities. SCOTUS greenlit these horrors.

They are transporting people to an immigration processing facility for the crime of having witnessed a fucking murder.
