Went for the big chop ahead of major surgery in three weeks. I think I needed to get used to the idea of part of my head being shaved ahead of time so I can focus on recovering instead of mourning all that hair.

This is so relatable. In our house we usually refer to kids whose names we got wrong one time by the wrong name and it is very silly.
