Why AI Literacy Will Go the Way of the Floppy Disk How the push for AI-specific education misses the forest for the trees I've been watching the 'AI literacy' discussion with the same mixture of bemusement and concern I'd feel watching someone frantic...

#AI literacy is not the answer.

We're prioritising teaching students to use tools that won't exist in 5 years at the cost of developing the human skills that have mattered for centuries.

Wrong problem, wrong solution.

lol. No, no it won’t.

Shortsighted, in both directions it seems.

Not sure how hot that take is Steve. Seems increasingly apparent, I reckon. I would also add social sciences to the list.

For anyone interested in experimental psychology and education, there is a symposium planned on the afternoon of June 17 at EPC. Hope to see lots of #LeaningSciences #EdPsych #ScienceOfLearning researchers and practitioners there.

It is nice to see people migrating en masse away from that cesspit that Elon created.
