It will reinforce the power of the Local Authorities (LA) significantly.
Especially, LA will have the right and means to decide what education each child will receive, even against their parent's decision.
The catch? LAs don't make decisions with the best interest of the children

😢Every year GDC reminds me how inaccessible the games industry still is.

As a disabled woman in a single-income household, attending isn’t an option, travel is too expensive & online access is overpriced.

Why not move GDC around to make it more affordable? We need real change.

Yes.
I think that our industry has a fantastic community of great people. But we rarely see it. These events aren't representative of the game dev community and its diversity, imo.
What can we do?
