Overlooking a lake from above. The photo is exposed so the pine trees and hills surrounding the lake are nearly black. The sky behind the lake is orange, darker at the horizon and becoming more pale above. The water in the lake reflects blue sky above at the bottom right of the photo and begins to reflect the orange towards the middle. Two small islands are on the lake. Steam is rising off the far end of the lake.

This was a pretty spectacular view to take in the morning. 10/4/24.

Das ist Kulturkampf plus Klientelpolitik: Konservative schützen Bauern und Fleischindustrie, indem sie Alternativen blockieren. Es sind die gleichen Reflexe wie bei der Klimapolitik. Die Zukunft wird verweigert, weil sie etablierte Interessen bedroht. Selbst wenn der Markt längst weiter ist.

Blick von einem steilen Hang im Alpstein hinunter zur Furgglenalp, die eingebettet zwischen grünen Weiden und herbstlich gefärbtem Wald liegt. Gelbe, orange und grüne Baumkronen markieren den Übergang zur Felsflanke im Vordergrund. Durch die Landschaft schlängeln sich schmale Wanderwege. Im Hintergrund liegt der Fälensee, eingerahmt von den schroffen Gipfeln des Altmanns (links), des Hundsteins (mittig) und des Säntis mit Schneefeldern und Sendeturm (rechts).

Ein herrlich milder Herbsttag war das heute im #Alpstein - mit Blick auf Altmann, Hundstein & #Säntis. 🏔️🤩Der erste #Schnee der Saison hält sich noch hartnäckig.
