i mean we kinda saw how with the whole situation recently. one of the things *they* did was force a gender onto a genderfluid person. i know, two different things, but the same idea would apply here.

i can't speak from experience but i can imagine that getting the same comment every few interactions you make would get annoying fast

but like. these people care about your online presence so much that they made a full community out of finding you. that feels extremely parasocial for some reason

even if it's in decent faith the entire concept of a subreddit just for spotting a single ordinary person out in the wild just seems creepy to me

normally what happens in this situation is that the runner gets banned from posting further runs but the existing runs stay (albeit with the fact that the account is grayed out since, y'know, banned)

as somebody who played through it when it came out, i 100% agree, the game's structure is made for mobile first, ESPECIALLY the missions.

i still hope that this game gets released SOMEWHERE else, just for it to not become lost media

From what I know, Yoshi's old voice was just a very good use of the orchestral hit in Mario World's soundfont, with the pitch bent to make something that vaguely sounds like a dinosaur.

i mean even then! if you treat the a button as down, it still turns back into that standard layout (almost exactly the same, just with B and X switched)

Wild encounter in Pokemon Pearl My Level 55 Torterra (male) vs Wild Level 40 Chatot (female). Chatot is at about 15% HP, Torterra is at 91 HP out of 191.

practically every mechanic in za makes wild encounters much more fast paced. no need to whittle down the enemy’s hp. no need to worry about turns. just catch the pokemon while it’s stunned.

this may be my favorite game for actually catching pokemon, which i’ve always enjoyed doing

if there’s anything i’ve learned from the pokemon legends games, it’s that skipping out on the battling part of catching pokemon is so much more fun than the traditional method of catching pokemon.

anyways i beat legends za. really enjoyed it!

…yeah. it’s probably the latter since from what i’ve gathered, the closest version of snes9x to the 3ds port (as mentioned for savestate compatibility) is 1.43, a version from 12 years ago
