I am enjoying this updated production of “Cabaret” a lot less than I thought I would.

Crap. I have no idea how to verify myself on Bluesky. I’m going to need someone to - slowly - talk me through that. Do I need a domain name? Do I need a web presence? I’m old and baffled.

A darker ferret sleeps whilst cuddling a mottled/white ferret. The darker one is Ricky Ferret, my best cuddle boy. He is sleeping with FinnFerret, my Waardy special guy. Ricky always makes sure the other guys have cuddles, and I’m not sure what I’m going to do when he is gone.

I haven’t been posting lately. Been too sad. My beautiful loving guy Ricky Ferret has been diagnosed with lymphoma, and the outlook is grim. Started prednisolone therapy for his comfort. Staying up late to make sure he’s ok. He was my touchstone when Mom died, and I wish, More than anything.

I was wondering what “Obeying in advance” looked like. Now I see posts where people are telling others to swerve away from “identity politics” and stick to “bread and butter” issues.

As someone in the crosshairs due to my my identity, that seems to fit the definition of “obeying in advance,”

In an absurd manner of studying for the test, I have refrained from overindulgence for a few weeks. Now that my blood and its transgressions are safely in a series of tubes, I intend to consider now through Fat Tuesday to be my cheat week.

That’s so cute when they discover stuff! Our boy Boscoi just learned how to climb completely up a pants leg to get to the kitchen table, presumably to use the Amazon app for treats.

It’s very reassuring that our Canadian friends know what’s happening and know where the blame lies. I wish it was just one person, though, and that’s a real sadness.
