Airstream Devotees

Today we left the Airstream in Ft. Lauderdale and drove down to Key West for Valentine’s weekend to celebrate both Caroline any my 66th birthdays. We are staying at the Ibis Bay beach resort. We are here for three nights. We started with well deserved cocktails and fresh seafood dishes. #Airstream

Smaller size will give us more room around the table.

We’re thinking of having a smaller custom table built for our 2024 23’ International. It’s a tough decision. We like the quarter sawn white oak because of the unique grain. Anyone have any thoughts or comments?

That’s the best way to do it! Start slow and work up to bigger trips…you’ll be there in no time. If you ever have any questions feel free to ask me. I had a 20’ Caravel and loved it!

That is a good question? We were Maine residents then- we live in Minnesota now.

That’s a Bowlus RoadChief, originally built in the early 1930’s in the design of a yacht ; they were luxurious competitors to Airstream. The company restarted a few years ago and offer a VERY high tech and high end trailer for bespoke style “campers”…the interiors are unbelievable!!

I think 23 is the perfect size - not too big, not too small -pulls like a dream! Cute pup too!!

Bowlus & Bambi went for a hike, 5000 miles and never a fight, Bowlus was comfy and Bambi was spare, both of us happy with nary a care. Bowlus a Trumper and Bambi way left, ever so opposite but never a cleft. Cared for each other and never talked down, even though Bowlus respected a clown.

We just sold our beloved Bambi 16’ and bought a new International 23’ we can’t wait to get on the road this Spring…1st trip Acadia National Park!
