Yes, the gunship is a fully functional spacecraft on its own and it can fire independently as well (though firepower is limited when not fed power from the Battle 7 itself)

I really like some of the ideas in the concept. Especially the idea of mixing individual parts with the production version of the Armored Pack. Sorta like customizing it for a specifica mission type or role 🥰

The keyboards and green-black computer screen of a spaceship control panel are mostly hidden by the shoulders and helmet of an astronaut facing away from the viewer. They have a colorful, complex outfit with tubes and wires attached to the back. In front of the spaceship, a giant black floppy disk hangs in outer space, inexplicably.

An astronaut with tubes in the exact same spot as the other illustration looks out of a circular window of a TIE Fighter at the Death Star.

Happy Control Panel Saturday from "Walter and Jacques," the credited artists for this 1983 cover to the Portuguese microcomputer hobbiest magazine Micro Mundo. It appears to be a trace of a flipped version of this 1977 Ralph McQuarrie Star Wars concept!

Two fictional aircraft designs in a blue, white and yellow livery. it has two pusher configuration turboprop propeller engines as its powerplant. It uses a delta wing configuration with two canards and two vertical stabilizers. hardpoints are attached to the stabilizer where missiles are fitted.

Yes, I believe so. But again, there's no official trivia. I'm relying heavily upon the Hasegawa model kits which seem to indicate two thruster ports upon each wing root that produce thrust. Attached guide

It's astounding what fans can build now with 3D printing. It's truly a new age in which all kinds of incredible fan projects can be created, ripe for those mecha which apparently are destined to never be sold as official releases 🥰

That is line art from the Macross Frontier Bandai 1/72 scale model kits, via the Macross Frontier Archives book. I've never owned a Bandai kit of the VF-25, but the book on page 8 sure seems to show two banks of 3-thrusters each upon the rear bottom torso/rear fuselage

Sometimes overlooked rockets/thrusters upon the rear torso Macross valkyries. One example is the VF-17 Nightmare from Macross 7. Another is the VF-25 Messiah from Macross Frontier. On most variable fighters, these are easily visible. Line art by Shoji Kawamori. Guide by me
