Didn't see that they started a Steel Path (AKA endgame) bounty.

I have been playing for 3 weeks.

THAT... was pant-shittingly terrifying.

...but shockingly, held my own.

Genuinely the greatest snort-laugh of all time.

No stream tonight as it's laundry night, followed by just some boring grinding for mods that is gonna be some "smoke a blunt, turn on some music, don't think" gameplay.

Maybe it's the "used to work in TV and film production" in me, but every time I see some "creator" holding the clip on a lavalier mic as they shill something, I'm infinitely less likely to buy whatever they're shilling.

Can't even use a mic right and they expect me to trust them on a product.

The most on-brand thing I do in streaming is when I raid out.

No spamming of emotes, no hyping. Just "Here. They're YOUR problem now ;)"

Can't believe I almost didn't stream tonight.

Would've missed the chat and the raid from @perwethien.bsky.social, and all the cool people I got to meet and talk games with.

Still planning a #Warframe stream tonight but it's gonna be starting later than the usual 11PM EST.

I just started making dinner. And after last night's quick exit due to being famished, I am learning from my mistakes.

@bungie.net emailed me a survey about my experiences with Marathon.

I expect that, unless I change my email attached to my Bungie account, that I probably will never get another one from them for any project. I wasn't mean or malicious, just honest in the fact that, well, I just didn't like it.

Was contemplating taking the night off from streaming but then I thought of the perfect stream title for the next mission in #Warframe so I guess I just HAVE to do it now.

Thoughts following playing #Warframe's "The War Within" tonight:

1. Fuck those worms in there
2. Great story and lore!
3. I really hope I don't have to do TOO much Operator gameplay (it's not as much fun as murderbot gameplay)
4. Seriously... fuck those worms.

I'm a very baby Tenno (less than 3 weeks in) but I get this. D4 was kind of my MAIN game til I started WF. I don't mind the seasonal model for Diablo, but totally see it as a "do everything in a month, then back to getting new stuff in WF" type of relationship now

Spent the last couple days farming and ranking up my newest frame (Valkyr, or as I affectionately call her, Warframverine, what with the claws and the healing and all), and going back into the WILD story of #Warframe tonight as I stream the War Within questline tonight on Twitch.

Be there, dammit.

Man the state of PVP shooters sucks nowadays.

Battlefield has no soul anymore, Halo is trash nowadays, everything else is "hero" shooters or the plodding slog of another extraction mess.

Call of Duty is the only one I enjoy anymore, and the fan base is a fucking cancer.

Guess I'm a PVE guy now 😞

I'm VERY new at this game, and already thought the movement and mantling was solid compared to the games I was playing beforehand. And now you're improving it? I'll take it!

Back to streaming #Warframe tomorrow.

Tonight is gonna be spent in farming purgatory as I target farm a few mods I'm sorely lacking, and don't wanna trade my hard earned plat for this early into the game.

Once I got some of those, on to the War Within tomorrow!

Last thought and I'll stop talking about it:

Bungie all but killed Destiny 2 in making this. That game's current lack of direction and soul is due to them essentially moving everyone to Marathon, and firing those they couldn't move.

I just don't think that Marathon is good enough to warrant this.

Marathon just ain't it for me.

It's a VERY slow moving game. Not what I expect from a Bungie game. Not a pace I enjoy, either.

I'm apparently the only one who thinks this, but I absolutely HATE the art style.

And don't get me started about the UI.

At least I didn't have to pay to try it.

Even with no algorithm my feed is full of people who just cannot stop constantly barraging us with politics, as if we fellow grown adults can't access the news.

Either a lot of you need therapy or I need new friends who remember how to fucking live and love again.

Making up for last night's lack of streaming by planning to do a #Warframe stream tonight.

Nothing too major planned. Just what Nightmares I've unlocked then plugging through nodes on Neptune to make our way to the next story beat.

Internet connection is being spotty tonight.
