This also extends to the shiny palettes! No more limitations on colors means they can go a little crazier with some of them. I noticed this right when the franchise went into gen 6 lol. Its interesting

More thoughts on Takuto Maruki:

I wish i didnt have to post my tangents in such short stints hahaha

To be fair though one thing about Maruki that made me think "WHERE TF DID YOU GET THAT LICENSE" is the fact that he very blatantly enabled Sumire to pretending to be Kasumi. I have a feeling there may be some cultural context I might be missing or smth since persona is VERY Japan-centric lol

*he wants others to be happier than him because it makes him feel better. He is so deluded and misguided. I love how flawed and well intentioned he is.

In spite of how hard he fights. And then it gets to a point where him and Ren are just exchanging punches, just for Maruki to get all that fully out of his system. And when he does, he loses his self preservation and doesnt care anymore. But Ren and the phantom thieves still care so much.

I feel Maruki's pain on a personal level. And the way he fights. My god how he fights. You know based on how he fights, that is all he has. Well also because he states so. But damn...the whole time he kept getting up and fighting, I just felt sympathy for him. Cuz you know he is gonna keep losing

Like he is literally so sad. And he takes that sadness, and projects his own desire for happiness onto other people to a very unhealthy degree. He is sympathetic to me, tbh. When I was younger, I wanted to save people, like he does. But now...no, I've learned I can't do that. (2/??)

Also jfc. My heart bleeds for Maruki. He's a bleeding heart. To his and others' expense. While he feels he is acting in selflessness, it is clear he is acting with great selfishness. He fights so so so hard, even harder than the other final bosses from P5 did. He is so sad. And wants (1/??)

They all have a rly interesting throughline in common
