to be honest at first I was mashing the hell out of D, but then I started to nail it after hitting the first D as early as possible, and the 2nd D close to the end of the jump arc. then it was a matter of lining up the other shit

despite playing sol when i was new to xrd I never really learned to dustloop, this took me about a half hour to figure out (I was hitting the 2nd D way too early at first)

Try contacting valve support about it. I had an abusive review (very clearly violating TOS) removed but only after I contacted support, the initial report was denied like with these here

I find it crazy how some people will look at a reasonable design choice and say "this is a mistake by the devs" instead of adapting to it, learning something, or just accepting that the game might not be for them

That was my takeaway too. Super expensive seeming trailer but I got the sense that they were trying to paper over bad gameplay

lol. haven't seen that happen in awhile

watching the trailer, it seemed very expensive to make. lots of character animation and voice acting, licensed music by DMX.. but i was a little put off by it, and did not come away with the impression that it was an interesting game

i feel like i haven't really grinded any really interesting items but it's wild to have antidepressant scale as sol and just run in

Oh and there was a whole collage of local news clippings. It was cool. Very local.

The optimal local restaurant is this place in Wallingford CT where some guy in his mid 40s blasting Alice In Chains over the speakers hands you an actual Steamed Ham and then leaves you alone. Sides and drinks are in the fridge, grab em yourself.

10 out of 10, it was an unforgettable luncheon.

As a guy making a fighting game, I hope so too, but it might not happen for awhile. Many of these trends follow the money and there's not a ton of money in fighters compared to other genres
