August just happened to crouch a lot when he played the game and assumed that was an important element.

Panel 1 Gustopher hasn't seen his cat all day and decides to start looking for her. Gustopher: I haven't seen Mewbert today. August: I think she's hiding in a box. Panel 2 Gustopher has a found a box that almost definitely has one cat. It would be weird for there to be two cats in the box. Why would there be a second cat in the box? I don't know, there probably isn't two. Let's just assume there's only one cat. Gustopher: There you are. Mewbert: Mew (possibly meaning "Yes, hello. I am here. And I am definitely the only cat in this box. Don't look closer. Why would there be another cat in here?") Panel 3 Gustopher realizes something. Gustopher: Uh-oh. Panel 4 Oh dang, there's two cats in the box. That's a surprise. Gustopher: DAD! We only have one cat, right? August: That question scares me. New Cat: Maw (possibly meaning "Yes, hello, I am another cat."

Cat Distribution System (Part 3) Panel 1 August is carrying the mysterious new cat that seems to have wandered into his home. He has taken the cat to a vet and has some new information. August: So the new cat has owners. They were moving and she got lost in the process. Gustopher: WHAT! Panel 2 Gustopher begins yelling. He can't believe that anyone could just lose their cat. Gustopher: HOW COULD THEY ABANDON HER!? August: Well they- Gustopher: THEY DON'T DESERVE A CAT! August: Listen- Panel 3 Gustopher: I don't want to give her back. August: Gustopher- Gustopher: We should kidnap her. Mewbert is in agreement with this plan. Primarily because she likes to commit crimes. Panel 4 August: They were already looking for a new home for her and said we can keep her. Gustopher: YES! Legal kidnapping! Mewbert has now realized that the new cat is being held again and she is not. Mewbert is not pleased with this development and begins pawing at August. The new cat has a look of smug satisfaction, as if to say "It's over Mewbert, I have the high ground." New Cat: MAW (possibly meaning, "That's right Mewbert. I'm here forever. This is my home now. Mewbert: MEW (possibly meaning, "THIS WASN'T PART OF THE DEAL!)

Panel 1 Gustopher and Hannah are trying to find something to watch on TV. Gustopher: I've never seen this show. Hannah: I think it's about giant robots. Panel 2 Gustopher: Want to try a few episodes. Hannah: Why not? Panel 3 A few episodes later. Gustopher and Hannah have gotten a decent taste of the show. Gustopher is more perplexed than anything. Gustopher: It's so weird! What do you think? Panel 4 Something has changed within Hannah. Something is not on the same. Her way of thinking has been elevated to new heights. She is a different person now. At least until she finds a different show that she likes. Hannah: My life is changed forever. Gustopher: Huh? Hannah: This show is my personality now.

Polly looks a lot like her mother, they both wear a single earring. Polly's is on her right ear and Penelope's is on her left. Penelope is looking visibly tired and worried. This is something that Polly has been noticing more and more. She decides to see if her mother is okay. Polly: Mom, you look stressed. Are you okay? Penelope: I'm just planning dinner for the week. Panel 2 Polly has a plan. She had tried making dinner a month ago with disastrous results but she's been wanting to take a crack at it again. She decides to bring it up. Polly: Y'know... I could make dinner a couple times a week. Penelope: I can do it. You girls shouldn't have to worry about these things. Panel 3 Polly begins to feel upset. She's not sure why her mom takes on everything herself. She doesn't understand why her offers to help get dismissed. In the background is one of the few pictures of the family taken before Polly's father had died. His face is just slightly out of frame and his absence is being felt strongly in this moment. Polly decides to says something. She tries to calmly collect herself and tactfully say what she wants to say. Panel 4 Polly fails to collect herself and tactfully say what she wants to say. Instead she shouts it. Polly: I'D RATHER WORRY ABOUT MAKING DINNER THAN LET YOU DO EVERYTHING ALONE!

The School Paper (Part 3) - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Gustopher and Liam are hanging out in Liam's room. Liam is laying on his bed because he's stressed. Stressed because Miss Horsehill asked him if he would consider writing for the school paper. He's thinking it over very carefully. Perhaps too carefully. It's consuming his every thought. Liam's little sister, Ember, is sipping on a juice box next to Liam's bed. This juice box will keep her wrath contained, for now. Liam: I love writing. And I like it when people read my writing. Panel 2 Liam continues staring at the ceiling as he voices his true concerns to Gustopher. Ember's going to town on the juice box. It's good stuff. Liam: But my feelings get hurt easily. I'm scared people might hate my work. Panel 3 Gustopher does his best to help Liam move his thoughts in a positive direction. Ember is preparing to speak as she notices that her juice box is about to run dry. She'll surely have grand pearls of wisdom to share with her older brother. Gustopher: Yeah, but there's also people who might love it. Sometimes you just have to take risks. Panel 4 Ember shall no longer be silenced. She has the obvious answer to this whole problem. Ember: AND I'LL BITE ANYONE WHO HATES IT! Liam: Ember, no. Ember: A SMALL BITE!

Banned Books - Gator Days Transcript Panel 1 Olivia and Gustopher are at the library. The Library is having a special event for books that have been banned in the past. Dora the librarian is stacking books with titles like "BOOK", "Boogers", "Tales", "Can you", "read this" and "Word". Olivia has a great interest in forbidden knowledge and has been browsing what's available. She's found a book called "Salt Box" and has an important question for the librarian. Olivia: Miss Librarian! Why was this book banned? Dora: Vulgar Language. Panel 2 Dora makes a shocked expression and holds her hands to her face. This is the only way she can express how depraved the book is. Dora: The word "butt" is used.... FIFTEEN TIMES! Panel 3 Dora looks down to the children to gather their reaction. Internally, Gustopher is wondering if Dora meant "but" with one "t" or "butt" with two. Olivia immediately assumes it's the latter. Behind them is a poster promoting banned books week. There is a cartoon book that's smiling and saying "I'm forbidden!" He's booky the banned book. He was specifically banned for being made using the darkest of magic. He's also kind of rude. Panel 4 Olivia is excited about the book. This leads Gustopher to assume that "butt" was indeed spelled with an extra "t". Olivia: Now I have to read it. Dora: Oh noooo... I'll help you check it out.
