Was trying to come up with a realistic trade value for him, assuming there isnโt some crazy desperate team out there willing to overpayโฆYou think FO could stomach a trade and build around JJJ and Bane? Jaren has clearly become the best player and Bane can play with almost anyone

Iโm only half way through it but yeah. Itโs an interesting look at life in the broader scope through the lens of basketball

Slightly off topic yet killing two birds with one stone in regards to your more regular subjects of books and basketball, have you read Abdurraqibโs Thereโs always this year?

Would Marshall or Washington be worth calling about? Dallas suddenly has a bunch of 3-4s on the roster

you might have missed it but I brought up wiggins as a target the other day in one of your older patreon posts more in wishful thinking but with all of the problems GSW have been having and the butler news I actually started wondering if there was a way it could shake out in a 3 teamer

@chrisherrington.bsky.social @therealhrdlicka.bsky.social what do you guys think is a realistic goal over next 11 games after tonight for grizz? Toughest stretch of the season to this point by far

Iโll revisit my question: is Laravia better than any pick of the previous front office regime? โฆor if itโs too easy to answer at this point we could stretch it to whatโs the worst pick of this FO thatโs better than the best pick of the previous?

I saw one that was Lopez and Beauchamp for Smart and would have to have another outgoing(so Huff?)...Do you believe in the young wings (and I guess Huff) enough to say no? Every day that goes by and Smart doesn't play I am side-eying that 21 million next year

Yeah I couldnโt remember exactly when the Wallace era began but those were the last two picks other than Jaren that were clearly better than Jake so I was looking at everyone between Conley and Jaren and comparing them to Jake who is kind of the โworstโ of the keepers at this point

In the most of Edeyโs minutes in the Brooklyn game and in the 1st quarter last night, Ja driving to the basket and Edey rolling and cleaning it up if it didnโt go in felt like an unstoppable playโฆthose PnR reps with Ja are important plus those harder mins on D now hopefully pay off in a few months

Question for your next bag: is Laravia a better player than any of Chris Wallaceโs picks be during the grit-grind era(not including Conley and I guess Lowry)? Only two I see that could compete are Sam Young or Carroll and he didnโt take off till he left.
07.11.2024 12:42 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0
I havenโt actually looked at a list so might be forgetting someone obvious but would Laravia be better than any pick made by Chris Wallace during the grit grind era
07.11.2024 02:40 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0
Yeah he caught one alley oop early, took one floater that missed and then spent the all of his following minutes till then standing out on the extended elbow doing nothingโฆheโs been fine on the other end but he has to be more active on offense to make it worth it
07.11.2024 02:14 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0
Is it just me or all of these minutes with BC really feel like 4v5 on the offensive endโฆhe just stands out at the line and takes one dribble and passes. Heโs not flashing in the lane or doing anything that makes the D think.
