It would be amazing to implement these into say a built-in client for an OS, Apple used to do exactly that with iChat, which supported AOL, Yahoo, and XMPP.
Having the Spec also be open and easy to improve allows the Spec to last longer than ever thought.
I am won over instantly with proper support or ambivalence towards 3rd-party clients.
It allows for others to make native programs for an OS instead of requiring the service to have a bunch of Kotlin, Swift, and ETC programmers all on hand.
I don't use crypto, but I at least like usage for doing DIY.
It's probably the best use for these things, mostly privacy focused ones.
there's a reason i am quite fond of monero.
the focus is entirely on the tech and usage for privacy and security instead of an investment.
