Pre-2024 my art was incredibly infrequent, so I can't quite do this comparison properly. This'll have to do.

Never played D&D in my life, but I'm happy with this result. Magic is cool. ⚡

In hindsight, I think I let my frustrations with certain things spill over into how I interacted with others in the weeks before I went off-radar.

Sorry if I ever came across as sharp or impatient. Being stressed doesn't excuse me taking that out on other people.

I can't necessarily expect anyone to understand why this matters to me as much as it does. I'm just glad that there are people who accept me and all my awkward, messy weirdness, and who don't forget about me when I step away and change.

Things are rough. But I'll keep trying to find a way through.

I keep thinking about who I am as a person and trying to find some comfort in that. Showing myself as Amper always felt better than anything else, and even though the last year damaged that, I want to carry the good times instead of letting the reasons why I'm hurting break me.

Sorry that I'm such a disaster I can't even settle on how I want to present myself right now. So much keeps going on all at once, and I never feel like I have time to make peace with anything.

It means a lot that there are still people who care about me, despite everything. The feeling is mutual. 💛

I think I might actually just be a bad person.

Maybe it's time to stay off Bluesky for a little while. Fresh wounds aren't going to heal if I keep getting caught off-guard by reminders of them.

Happy new year. Time to move on and look forward. 💚

With that being said, I do have goals for 2026. I want to move out of my current place. I want to get into better self-care habits. I want to finally start getting somewhere real with a creative project.

And perhaps most of all, I want to feel comfortable with who I am as a person.

2025 taught me some things:

- Who I can trust, and who I can't.
- How comfortable I am being myself around others.
- To realise when a good thing is actually unhealthy.
- That I've made a lot of mistakes.
- Loneliness and rejection are horrible feelings.

Good riddance to the worst year of my life.

It's been a rough year personally. But I want to get better. I won't give up on the things and people that still matter to me.
