It's hard not to see this whole TikTok saga as a publicity stunt at this point.

Looks like Lemon8 just reverted from the "banned" message back to the "temporarily unavailable" message.

People need to stop acting like TikTok is a platform just for Gen Z. It’s massively popular across demographics in the U.S., with nearly half of Americans having an account. This is going to be highly disruptive for many people—both creators and consumers.
