Proper Halloween vibes here from Never the Bridle, out today.
Listen to it, because your life might just depend on it (or you know, just listen because it’s good!)

I used to love hearing Ben Kweller play 'Problems' live in the 2000s. It's not on streaming so I got it secondhand from the US on CD a few years back. Last year BK gave me permission to cover it, and here it is, newly mixed and mastered by the ace @flamingjangle.bsky.social: tinyurl.com/25j26sm4

Never The Bridle just released this on the Spotifies … it was great to begin with, but this remixed version is greater. Spiky, punky, indie, punch-you-in-the-face music, filled with harmonies to help you get through Friday and flick the Vs to the general situation.

Last March I put an album on @bandcamp.com for the first time. It was mostly recorded on a £100 electric guitar with Ableton drum clips. Now with drums and production from @bathdrummer.bsky.social, Eldest Daughter Energy is reborn!

Nice Bandcamp review 😊
“DRONESHIP delivers a synthwave cocktail that's equal parts soundscape and soundtrack, served with a generous helping of 80s nostalgia. Playful analog synths bounce off a solid beat, punctuated by quirky English accent monologue clips – it's proper brilliant!” Droneship.uk
Hey Bluesky, my first post – I like making music, historically dark folk/lo-fi, but I took a left-turn into synthwave territory after getting really into it. I made an EP, which you can hear at droneship.uk (there’s a video too). I’d love it to be heard, but I’d love to hear your stuff too!
